From June 1 to 2, hosted by College of Foreign Languages of FNU and co-organized by the editorial department of Collected Papers on Japanese Studies, a Japanese academic journal, the 3rd Japanese Studies Forum for Postgraduates was held in Fuzhou. The attendees included master and doctoral supervisors and Japanese-majoring graduate students from 12 universities including Tongji University, Xiamen University (XMU), East China Normal University (ECNU), Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), and Soochow University. During the forum, Prof. Liu Xiaofang from Tongji University, Prof. Wu Guanghui from XMU and Prof. Zhang Xiuqiang from GDUFS delivered a keynote speech respectively.
The forum offered six discipline-based meetings, with two experts in charge of making comments for each. 37 graduate students from the universities made academic speeches at the meetings. Afterwards, Prof. Shi Hui from Soochow University, Prof. Xing Yongfeng from Shandong University, Prof. You Haiyan from ECNU and other experts introduced the academic situations of each meeting, commented on the research topics of each presenter, and highly commended the forum.
